Alpha VIP Lanyard

These slick lanyards admitted guests to an exclusive cocktail party, and the production techniques were just as cool. We started with 130# Epic Black cover stock, printed white and four-color UV inks, and then added a double hit of UV spot gloss. We finished the piece with a simple CAD-cut and fold to create a double-thick VIP invite.

University of Minnesota Acrylic Awards

We created custom acrylic plaques for the University of Minnesota that printed on both sides to create a vibrant background with distinct depth as the front printing cast shadows to the back. Each plaque was CAD-cut with a tab to snugly mount into an acrylic base. A relatively small amount of awards were called for, making this a perfect application for our large format digital UV press.

Convatec Anatomical Model Booklet

This booklet features a unique, multi-layered and multi-material production to illustrate details of human anatomy. Our craftspeople precisely assembled layers of CAD-cut PVC and acrylic within a traditional book binding. The end effect is richly detailed, three-dimensional model created to help patients of Convatec understand catheters and medical procedures.

Yeowww! Catnip Packaging

Shapco executed a playful packaging design for these fun catnip toys. The box was die cut and printed on metallic silver foil board with white and PMS inks and other special spot UV effects. We finished the project by folding and gluing the package for rapid final box assembly with the client. We absolutely love this design and it has incredible eye-catching shelf appeal.

Batten Down the Hatches Game

Shapco produced a striking packaging sleeve and printed internal game components for this kraken-themed board game. We utilized our large format UV press to print a crisp and tangible black ink onto rigid black board. In certain applications such as this, the UV inks simulate a sublte “embossed” effect.
